People continued to sit on lounge chairs in the lot after the awards. They were sad to go home, and so was I. I pulled out the WI map which I looked at for the last time as Jeff let go of it from the passenger seat somewhere around Portage, WI.

Due to constant rain in much of WI over the last week, interstates were closed and backroads looked like this. I made my way north and eventually ended up at home in central WI.

A photo of the odometer before and after. Total miles were 2396, and we used 84.5 gallons of gas. That's 28.3 miles per gallon - a number that is a bit difficult to believe and that I'm very happy with.
